Happy, Merry 2018 -- Seasons Greetings,

I've been doing tons of reading, taking classes and seeking better ways to stay connected to all of you -- my wonderful clients and community. Seriously, each of you is important to me. While it's been amazing meeting and working with each of you the part I love the most is the connection. I'm the first to admit that I kind of suck at staying in touch. Please know I'm working on getting better at this.

It is a busy season. The holidays are often quite hectic and don't afford us all the time we want to visit, celebrate, rest, cook some delicious meals to share with our family and friends. I'm not exempt from this. However, I've managed to have some dear friends over for a meal recently, meet Harry (my better half) for the first time (it has only been 4.5 years we've been together, lol), get most of our family room done, (every room in our house is being renovated) put up some Christmas trees and adopt a rescue dog!

Yes, me and Harry finally found our girl! Penny was in foster with "Mama Michelle". Michelle is seriously an angel, amazing lady. Penny's former name was Lulu and she had gone through three different families before us. She is almost seven years old. The good people at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton showed some pictures of her on their website so I reached out to Julie (another incredible human being) to learn more. Turns out Lulu had just been surrendered for the third time. Heart breaking, I know. Long story short, within 48 hours a visit with Lulu was arranged at "Mama Michelle's" house. Me and Harry were trying to hold back our excitement. Turns out, Penny (formerly Lulu) is the absolute sweetest girl, she is the perfect addition to our family. She is an old soul, kind eyes, with a loving and somewhat playful disposition. Penny's gentle and kind personality came through despite the bumpy road she had endured. We think Penny is a beagle, lab mix. She is a bit on the "fluffy" side but hey I'm kind on the "fluffy" side myself so she fits right in. Me and Harry are over the moon about her!

I had resisted opening up my heart to a dog for so long because I did not think I could endure the heart ache of losing a pet again. For those of you who know me well, you know I absolutely love animals and the more the merrier. I keep teasing Harry that we need to live on a farm so I can have a horse, a duck, Penny, some chickens and a kitty or two.

Me and Harry are witnessing Penny opening up, embracing her new home and trusting that we are her forever family. She's part of our soul, our heart and family. Needless to say Harry and I could not be more happy. What a way to celebrate the holiday season! I hope Penny can come on the road with me from time-to-time...she'll be my assistant :)

My point is really to encourage you to take that next step towards something you've always wanted to be, do or have. 2019 is upon us -- seems as though time has sped up or is it just me?!

I hope you'll enjoy this message and remember how precious life really is. Don't wait for that perfect time so long as you have what you need there is no time like NOW!

Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday season. Penny is resting up for the holidays! Cheers, Kimberly, Harry & our sweet girl, Penny
